The club is run by volunteers. No experience needed for most roles — and where a role needs a check or a course, the club says what it arranges.
Coaching · Mow Town U10
U10 Assistant Coach
Saturday mornings 9–11, and Wednesday training 6–7pm in term time
Help Coach Mick run the U10s — setting out cones, running a small group in drills, and cheering on a Saturday. No experience needed: you will be alongside a qualified coach, and the club puts you through the FAW Leaders course.
Every coach at Mow Town is DBS checked and first-aid trained. The club arranges and pays for both, and the safeguarding course too, so the only thing you need to bring is an hour or two a week.
A few hours a month, plus being someone families can talk to
The person players and parents can turn to with a worry, and who makes sure the club follows the FAW’s safeguarding rules. Training is provided — what matters is being approachable and level-headed.
One home match a month, Saturday or Sunday morning
Be the qualified first-aider at a home match: the kit bag, the ice packs, and a calm head when someone takes a knock. Parents and grandparents welcome — most of our first-aiders are.
